As a family-owned, independent company, ATCO takes pride in designing pest management strategies tailored to the individual needs and preferences of its clients in the Bay Area. Owners Richard and Estella Estrada have over 15 years’ of experience in the pest control industry. Clients include residential and business building owners, municipalities, schools and hospitals.
ATCO’s technicians focus on creating effective, long-term solutions for specific pest problems. ATCO does not require lengthy one-size-fits-all service contracts. Our client-centered program begins with a full inspection of your home or office, and the surrounding property, to discover how and why pests are invading the property and structure. We provide you with a detailed plan that includes a range of solutions for your existing pest problems. After discussing the options with you, we implement a strategy to address the current situation and prevent problems from reoccurring.
ATCO technicians are trained in our own ecologically conscientious EcoSense program, which features the use of organic pesticides, insect baits, traps and other physical pest control methods such as vacuuming and steaming. ATCO employs heat remediation, using ThermEx technology, as a chemical-free, clean, fast and effective solution for the removal of bed bugs. These natural products and methods provide safe, cost-effective alternatives to the use of harmful chemicals.

- ATCO Pest Control is distinguished in the Bay Area for its advanced level of EcoWise certification. ATCO technicians who complete the EcoWise training and certification process learn how to solve pest problems within strict and specific guidelines, using only non-chemical means. The certification process includes a thorough review of the company’s inspection methods, monitoring, treatment procedures and client education materials.
- ATCO received the 2008 Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Commendation from the Marin County Board of Supervisors in recognition of its EcoWise Certification, and also received special mention for “striving beyond requirements to serve the County by obtaining and utilizing IPM best practices."
